Geek Squad is a subordinate to an American multinational corporation Best Buy. It is situated in Richfield, Minnesota. The subordinate was initially an autonomous company which was started by the Chief Inspector Robert Stephens in 2014. Later in the year, it went through a merger with Best Buy, leading to Stephens with primary corporate leadership for the subordinate company.
